GOZZO Advokater is a law firm with special expertise in intellectual property law, marketing law and competition law. Over the years, lawyers from GOZZO have represented many clients in both the Supreme Court and the Market Court. GOZZO and its partners have been ranked for many years in Chambers & Partners “Global Client’s Guide”, the WTR 1000 – the definitive guide to trademark, Legal 500 and other ranking institutes. Ann-Charlotte Söderlund Björk has been designated “IP Star” for two consecutive years by Managing Intellectual Property MIP.
GOZZO was established by the lawyers Örjan Grundén and Giovanni Gozzo, both having unique experience of IP, not least within patent proceedings and arbitration. In the early 1990s, they were joined by Ann-Charlotte Söderlund Björk and a couple of years ago rejoined by Håkan Sjöström, who worked with Örjan Grundén in the 1980s.
GOZZO offers highly qualified legal advice with expertise from disputes and conflict resolution. The lawyers at GOZZO have long and unique experience of intellectual property disputes, not least in the field of patents, where Håkan Sjöström has received special recognition from Chambers. Within the sphere of anti-counterfeiting/pirate copying, GOZZO is considered as one of the most experienced and influential law offices. GOZZO also works with contracts including strategic arrangements, as well as with ongoing IP-related cases, to maintain and protect our clients’ commercial values and businesses. We have an international perspective with half of our clients being foreign companies, or Swedish companies with business abroad. Our work and our advice shall create and provide a strong position and commercial values for our clients, regardless of whether this concerns safeguarding their own or assessing others’ IP rights.
GOZZO works in a number of sectors such as fashion, packaging, automotive, pharmaceutical, design, advertising/communication and entertainment. Our clients range from multinational to small enterprises but also include individual inventors, designers and composers. Our clients include some of the ten best known trade marks in the world.
Being a smaller specialised law practice using modern methods, we are flexible and can easily adapt to our clients’ needs and requests.
